Margie's Grandma lives in Wall, SD. It is the neatest place. If you're ever near Wall you have to stop and get your free ice water at Wall Drug.

We met in Austin, TX so naturally we took engagement pictures all over the pretty city. This is taken from the south side of the river looking back over some of the Austin skyline. We do miss it there. Who knows, we might be back there soon!!

On our first Valentine's together we went to see a band called Sherwood in Austin, TX. We immediately fell in love and they became our favorite band. So when they came to Rexburg, ID we had to be there. We stood front and center and had a blast!! We sure love Sherwood.

Welp, if you know anything about Margie, you know she LOVES High School Musical! For her birthday last year, we were able to go to EAST HIGH! (That is where they filmed the movie) It is in Salt Lake City. She was so excited to be there. To think, Zac Efron actually walked these halls? WOW!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Can you believe that these pictures were taken on the stage at the Stake Center. The Walker Clan was taking pictures over Christmas two years ago. This is just us having a good time! Gotta love taking pictures.

Week #27

Christmas of 2008 was spent in Utah! This was our first day down for the break. Kati, Margie's sister was in town for Lisa's wedding. We met up with some other San Antonio folk and Andrew's sister and brother in law and we went sledding down this amazing hill. Going down was a blast, but the coming back up was horrible. It was great playing in the snow with my sister though!!!! Gotta love those Texans when they see snow!

Over the Christmas holiday, Andrew and I were able to go to a hockey game...THANKS DAD for the tickets. It was a great night with a whole lot of fun. We even got to wear OFFICIAL hockey jerseys...thanks again Dad!!! Go Rampage!

It is hard to believe how much snow there is here in Ashton. And to think, it is a MILD winter. We knew there was going to be a ton of snow, but we did not think it would be like this. The snow has piled up to our waist. But even with all this snow, we still love it here!

For Valentines week we chose this postcard. The song "The Day Before You" was our song at our wedding. The picture of us is in front of the Alamo on our honey moon and the hands are ours having a contest to see who can hold there hand outside the sunroof the longest in 15 degree weather driving 75 mph. I know we're cute and we do cute things!!

This is a picture of us at the Alamo Bowl game with Kati. Texas Tech, Margie's alma mater was playing against Michigan, so Kati so generously got us tickets! It was an amazing game. There were time that Margie even started to cry she was so excited. She just loves going to those football games. Thanks again Kati for hooking us up! We love you!

We loved visiting Cape Cod last summer. Andrew's family use to go there every summer. Andrew really enjoyed reliving those memories. This picture is taken in front of the General Store. This was their first stop each summer to load up on PENNY candy! We made sure to do the same thing. Unfortunately, inflation has hit the General Store and there were not too many pieces of Penny candy left. We still got some candy though! What a great place!

This was the FIRST lighthouse that Margie saw up close and personal. It was beautiful where it was located on the tip of Cape Cod.

We went snowmobiling for the first time last winter. It is the best. We love it and can't wait to go again this year!!

Week #15

This summer, we were able to visit the USS Nautilus. It is the first nuclear submarine. We felt that this was an appropriate postcard to send this week, because Monday was Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. Both of our grandpas were at Pearl Harbor when it was attacked. Both Grandpas survived Pearl Harbor. They served on sister ships, the Pennsylvania and the Arizona. Andrew's grandpa also worked on the Navy base right next to the Nautilus Muesum. They have both passed away in the last five years, but we will never forget the examples they set for us and all of the memories we have because of them.
We love you Grandpa McDonald and Grandpa Jones!!!!

Most people don't know that Andrew has a love for PEZ and along with that is a massive PEZ collection. On our summer road-trip of 2009 we drove through Orange, CT. So of course we had to stop at the PEZ factory for Andrew. They were closed for the weekend but it was still cool to drive by! Way fun place.

Part of our summer road-trip in 2009 took us to Acadia Maine where David (Margie's Brother) was working for the summer. It was so gorgeous and a blast to spend time with David. One of our favorite summer memories. We'll definitely be going back.

Grillin' on our back porch is one our favorite things to do. We got a brand new grill from Andrew's parents for a house warming gift. We use it FREQUENTLY! This is us on the 4th of July having a good 'ole BBQ! Wish we had that warm weather back right now!!!

This was taken when we went to South Dakota for Margie's Grandma's 90th birthday bash!! It was a great trip. We had a blast. And we were able to see Mt. Rushmore which was pretty cool.

As many of you know we bought our first home in Ashton, ID. This is a picture of it. We love our home and the town of Ashton. It is so fun to live in a small town.

This past summer Margie & Andrew spent a week in Pittstown, New York with Andrew's Grammy. This picture is a shadow of them on Grammy's gator. For those of you who don't know what a gator is it is a six wheeled ATV by John Deere. It is a fabulously fun machine!!

We took a month long road-trip the summer of 2009 and made sure to stop off on Cape Cod. Andrew spent his childhood summers there and it is a place very close to both of our hearts. This picture is of Andrew & Margie on the beach of Chattham, MA.

This picture was taken on our first date several months before we really began dating, yet it perfectly depicts us. Our life is one big dance party.
